USED LEXUS GS HISTORY
The Lexus RX spans three different generations that it has grown through since its introduction for the 1999 model year. Being the manufacturer's only crossover SUV, the RX is smaller than its larger GX and LX cousins, but it remains a popular choice in its class. While the first two generations received mid-generation refreshes, each progressive generation falls under the progressive 300 line: 300 (1999-2003), 330 (2004-2009), and 350 (2010-present).
Since its birth, the RX has boasted a V6 engine for its customers, presenting horsepower offerings ranging from 220 (1999) to the model's current 275 total output. Thanks to the consumer's ability to select between a forward-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive build, models sporting each drivetrain exist, all of which are paired with an automatic transmission. First generation models feature a four-speed automatic transmission, and each progressive generation has added an additional speed to it. In addition to traditional gasoline engines that the main line of RX models has offered, a lineup of hybrid models were also produced: the RX 400h-the first luxury hybrid-as well as the updated RX 450h. | |

STANDARD FEATURES & OPTIONS
Standard features for these luxury crossover SUVs have changed through its updates, but they usually include leather- and wood-trimmed interiors, generous center consoles, luxury-grade sound systems (with room to upgrade or add a DVD entertainment system), and power windows and locks. More recent models feature DVD navigation systems, as well as keyless remote entry.
